I acquired the car in January 2000 from Maurice Monk of Melbourne. My limited research revealed the car was delivered by Auto Sport Rome and sold to an Italian Doctor I can only deduce that at some time the car was shipped to Australia where it was converted to RH drive. This Indy has an excellent conversion to RH drive with both the firewall and air conditioning intake being mirrored accross as in a factory RH Drive model. Unusually it has a Ghibli dash fitted. Currently I am awaiting the completition of a respray which will return the car to it's original Oro Kelso metallic gold colour. Mean Front View.

As you know most of the vehicles were manufactured in Innocenti in Milan (propriety at that time of Mr. De Tomaso), and when Innocenti factory went to bankrupt unfortunately all the documents related to our vehicles were lost. Otherwise also for the vehicles manufactured at the factory in Modena we have only few information. The only information available in our Historical archive about your car are the following: Maserati Biturbo Spyder, #ZAM333B00*KA102032*, originally manufactured in March 1989, 2.800cc engine, automatic gearbox, external colour âBlackâ, interiors in black leather. It was delivered in Japan. The only optional was the double external mirrors. This is all what we have available in our Historical Archive, I hope can help!
